Sage Intacct Sync Guide: Create a Sync User in Intacct

Table of Contents

Create a user at the Root/Top Level in Sage Intacct and give it full permissions. For multi-entity Sage Intacct environments, if you have multiple Bill.com accounts syncing with the Entity Level, you'll use the same sync user credentials in Bill.com, and distinguish each by adding the Entity ID when entering the Sage Intacct Login Info.

Web Services Sync user creation

To create the Bill.com Sync User, complete the following steps in Sage Intacct at the Root/Top Level:

  1. Go to Company > Web Services Users > Add
    add user - NEO
    • User ID, First name, and Last name:
    • This username indicates a non-billable user and is used strictly for the integration.
    • Enter XML_Bill.com
    • Email address:
    • Use the email address of the person managing the Bill.com account or the sync.
    • User type:

Once the Web Services sync user is created, you'll receive an email from Sage Intacct containing a temporary password.
