QuickBooks Online sync error: ERROR CODE:120, ERROR MESSAGE:Authorization Failure, ERROR DETAIL:AuthorizationFailure: --11014-You do not have access to use QuickBooks Online Plus., statusCode: 40

Why the sync error occurs

This error occurs when:

  • QuickBooks Online is experiencing intermittent issues which is affecting a stable sync connection
  • QuickBooks Online login credentials used to connect the sync are invalid
  • QuickBooks Online login credentials used to connect the sync are no longer valid

How to fix the sync error

Disconnect and reconnect the sync.

  1. In Bill.com, select Settings
  2. Select Setup under Sync
  3. Select Disconnect
  4. Select Yes to confirm
  5. Select QuickBooks Online
  6. Select Connect to QuickBooks
  7. Enter Admin login credentials for QuickBooks Online
  8. Select Sign In
  9. Select the company in QuickBooks Online, if more than one, to sync
  10. Select Confirm
  11. Review that the company selected is correct, then select Authorize
