Merchant account payment terms & conditions

You can choose to display or hide the Terms & Conditions on the Payment page. To update the view, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Bill.com
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Online Payments under Receivables
  4. Select Manage next to Credit Card

For the greatest level of chargeback protection from disputes arising from Terms & Conditions policies, we recommend that you require each cardholder to agree to the policies at the time of sale, prior to making a payment. On your Terms & Conditions page, include your complete Terms of Service and any specific policies you have regarding:

  • Cancellations
  • Special orders
  • Restocking fees
  • Refunds
  • Damaged and inaccurate fulfillment claims
  • ALL SALES FINAL (if this is a policy, put it at the top in all capital letters as shown)

Things to know

  • You must host the Terms & Conditions on a website that can be referenced from the checkout page
  • The URL of the page that contains your Terms & Conditions will display in an iFrame window embedded on the checkout page
  • The iFrame window should contain your entire Terms & Conditions policy, with no reference links to other pages
  • Displaying the complete Terms & Conditions policy on the same page as the Agree button satisfies Terms & Conditions disclosure requirements
