Check processor
Automated check processing
Bill.com uses a third-party vendor to print and mail checks. We use the same mail service as other common national billers-such as other telecom, utility, and financial institutions-to print and stuff our monthly bills. This third-party vendor receives a check file from Bill.com on a daily basis. They print the checks, using an automated, barcoded process to place the checks individually into window envelopes. Checks are also periodically inspected manually to ensure an accurate print process.
Security
The entire check printing process is housed in a secure facility, and the process, as well as the bonded employees, are monitored with video cameras. Bill.com Payment Operations receives daily confirmations that files have processed and all files and file receipts are transmitted securely.
Mailing
Envelopes are injected directly into the first class postal mail stream via main postal hubs in Logan, Utah, and Dallas, Texas, to ensure the fastest possible delivery to vendors being paid. Pay Faster checks are sent from a postal hub in Illinois.
